ABOUT US

Fundación Quito Joven, Gente Pilas is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the integral well-being of children and youth living in vulnerable conditions across Ecuador. Through programs focused on social assistance, health, education, nutrition, and recreation, the foundation works to enhance the quality of life in communities with historically unmet needs.

 

Its work focuses on high-vulnerability areas across some provinces like Pichincha, Bolívar, Chimborazo, and Imbabura, as well as children’s homes and community schools. The foundation promotes a culture of solidarity and social responsibility, encouraging individuals and institutions to actively participate in improving the lives of those most in need.

Our Organization is a non-profit organization based in Quito, Ecuador. Established as a private, non‑profit legal entity, this foundation works under Ecuadorian civil regulations and operates with an indefinite duration and an open membership structure.​

 

Our organization carries out its work by:

  • Developing and implementing social programs for children and youth.

  • Collaborating with public and private institutions, both nationally and internationally.

  • Creating strategic partnerships and agreements that enhance community development.

  • Supporting initiatives aligned with education, personal development, entrepreneurship, and social assistance.
